Future in medicine?
Are you “sick” of your same school routine? The Allied Health Technology program is just the prescription for you! 

Join the hands-on community of students interested in exploring what the medical field has to offer. Meet new people and learn new skills in a supportive and fun environment. You will learn a whole new language of medical terminology which will help to prepare you for the health care field. Anatomy and physiology will help you to understand how the human body works. Sculpting body systems with clay and making 3-dimensional bones with rice cereal and white chocolate help you to learn in new ways. 

In the AHT program, you also have the opportunity to learn skills that can help save a life! CPR and First Aid certifications help to prepare you to assist in an emergency. Learning phlebotomy, EKG’s and medication administration will help advance your future health care career. The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification can be obtained at the end of your second year. This certification can allow you to work in the health care field gaining valuable experience while providing you an income. Competing in SkillsUSA helps you to showcase your skills.
