If the terms AC-DC mean something more to you than the name of an Australian rock band, Electrical Engineering Prep is the program for you! 

In EEP you learn soldering skills that is in high demand with electronic assembly and manufacturing employers. You practice hands-on guided learning with electrical wiring of outlets, switches and lighting that enable you to experience what it takes to become an electrician. Basic circuitry knowledge is gained by designing a working circuit containing a battery, resistor and light bulbs. Students have internship opportunities that lead to jobs upon graduation from high school and are able to earn industrial certifications like OSHA and NCCER. In addition, students will work in teams and learn skills in designing and testing electrical/electronic circuits while applying practical skills learned from your math and English classes.
