Federal Pell Grant

  • Maximum award for 2009-2010 school year is $3,566.67 for a 600 hour program and $5,350 for a 900 hour program. Awards are based on the previous year’s income.  Pell Grants do not require repayment.  Apply on line:  www.fafsa.ed.gov 

 

Veterans’ Benefits

Cleveland Scholarship Programs, Inc.

Lake/Geauga Educational Assistance Foundation (LEAF)

Healthcare Career Pathway

Ohio Job and Family Services  (OJFS)

  • OJFS is a resource for the unemployed due to employer closing and/or relocation.  Contact the OJFS facility in the county in which you live.

 

Union Education Trust  (UET)

  • UET is a service available to State of Ohio Employees.

  • Training funds for eligible persons with disabilities are available through your local BVR office.
