Mr. Blair has been a member of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education for over 20 years. Mr. Blair is currently our Board President. He also serves on the Newbury Local School District Board.

Mrs. Javins is the Vice President of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education and also serves on the Fairport Harbor School District Board.

Mrs. Brush has been a member of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education for over 20 years.  Seeing children succeed and helping families step up in life are the rewards she receives from countless hours of volunteerism.  Prior community involvement includes service at Habitat for Humanity, Forbes House, YMCA, St. Clair School, Rape Crisis Center, Lake Hospitals, the courts, and Neighboring.  She also serves on the Lake County Educational Service Center Governing Board.

Mrs. Brush lives in Painesville and has two grown children, Dr. James J. Brush and Betsy Chen, and three grandchildren, Sarah, Adrian and Colin.

Mr. Dawson has been a member of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education since April 30, 1996. He also serves on the Lake County Educational Service Center Governing Board. He also serves on the Lake County Fair Board and sits on the Ohio Fair Managers Association Board of Directors.

Mr. Dawson is the Program Administrator for Lake County Department of Job and Family Services. He lives in Perry with his wife, Dawn, and has three children and one grandchild.

Mr. Foote has been a member of the Auburn Vocational Board since January 4, 1994.  He is active in numerous community activities, including Pride in Madison.   Mr. Foote was named Madison-Perry Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year in 1993.  He also serves on the Lake County Educational Service Center Governing Board located in Painesville, Ohio.

Mr. Foote and his wife Shirley live in Madison.  They have four grown sons and ten grandchildren.

Kenston

Mr. Fussner was elected to serve on the Auburn Vocational Board of Education in 2012. He is also on the Kenston Local School District Board.

Mr. Klima has been a member of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education since January 6, 1998.  He also represents Cardinal School District and serves as President on their Board. 

Mr. Klima lives in Parkman with his wife, Sharon, son Joe and daughter Kristina.

Dr. Kolkowski has been a member of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education since January 10, 2008. He also serves as President of the Lake County Educational Service Center Governing Board.  Dr. Kolkowski works as an attorney and director for two local companies.  He previously served as a board member for a local school district in Lake County, and he has served our country honorably as a United States Naval Officer.  He holds both a doctorate from Case Western Reserve University and a law degree from the University of Toledo.  Dr. Kolkowski is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts and with local youth softball. 

Dr. Kolkowski lives in Leroy Township with his wife and two children, who attend schools in the area.

Mr. Miller is a member of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education and also serves on the Berkshire Local School District Board.

Chardon

Mr. Stefanko has been a member of the Auburn Vocational Board of Education since January 6, 2009.  He also represents Chardon School District and was elected to their Board of Education in 2005.  He lives in Chardon with his wife, Sandy and his daughter Janna, who was a student at the Chardon School system.

Mr. Stefanko is the Telecommunications Director for Lake County Government where he works with 12 employees and manages several public safety communication systems.

Mr. Stefanko enjoys volunteering his time as an advisor with the Geauga 4-H organization, he is an avid backpacker, plays softball, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Mr. Walter is the newest member of Auburn's Board.  He was appointed to the Board to fill the vacancy left by Ann Radcliffe.

Erik L. Walter is a partner at the law firm of Dworken & Bernstein Co., L.P.A.  He has served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA in Lansing, Michigan, is currently on the Board of Directors for the YMCA in Lake County, Ohio, the Northeast Ohio Autism Group and Lake County Jail Ministries.  Mr. Walter, his wife Melissa and three children Hannah, Noah and Isaiah reside in Concord.

Auburn Career Center

Ms. Lynch became Auburn Career Center's fourth Superintendent in 2009.  Prior to her role as Superintendent, she was Auburn Career Center's Curriculum Director.  

Treasurer

Auburn Career Center

Ms. Bennett has 23+ years of experience as a Treasurer/CFO in Ohio’s schools. She is also a former U.S. Marine and has served as a Rotarian.  Her role is to serve as the financial advisor for the Board and Superintendent, Treasurer of all district funds and to record the minutes of the meetings.
