|NTHS Spirit Week 2012|
The first week of October was the annual celebration of The National Technical Honors Society. This is for honoring the students and teachers that reside under it. Mr. Crail, one of the leaders in NHTS at Auburn says, “I like Spirit week because people can show their enthusiasm for Auburn; it’s a nice break from the normal routine as well”.
The first day of this event was Hat Day, the next was Twin Day, then after that was Retro-Day, NTHS Purple Day, and the last is Team Pride Day.
On a normal school day, students are required to wear certain uniforms. “I like purple day,” says senior Allied Health Student Rachel Greathouse, “it’s because I don’t have to wear scrubs.” Jordan Mikulndra, a senior in Sports Medicine, replied that she liked Spirit week because, “People don’t have to wear uniforms, and you can see their personalities through what they wear.”
