A team from our Computer Networking Technology and Cybersecurity class took first place out of 81 teams competing across Ohio in a Capture the Flag Competition by RITE. Capture the Flag (CTF) is an ethical hacking competition in which teams compete to obtain “flags” by solving security-based problems. They work in teams to solve a series of real-world scenarios to test their technical skills and knowledge of cybersecurity.
Our Superintendent, Dr. Bontempo, visited with the students as they shared what it meant to them to win the competition. He presented them with a certificate and shirt.
