This program and industry is Exploding and offers a unique combination of Business Management and Entrepreneurial Training, Project Management, access to awesome Emerging Technologies, development of Outdoor Artistic Creativity, and an industry Soaring Wages and Benefits that are highly sought after by all.
One of the most exciting aspects of this program are the opportunities it provides for students to engage in Business Management and Entrepreneurial Training as well as Project Management. How to effectively manage Products, Projects and Sales for the soon to be “Budding” Business Owner will have those interested on a fast track to success!
Do you have an Outdoorsy Creative? This program will tap into that by designing and maintaining landscapes to creating stunning outdoor spaces giving students the chance to express their Artistic Creativity while working in a dynamic and rewarding field.
In addition to the creative aspects of this program, students will also have access to Emerging New Technologies that will allow them to be on the cutting edge of this new era! This includes everything from simulators and autonomous mowers to advanced irrigation systems, robotics and more.
But perhaps most importantly, the Plant, Turf, and Landscape Management program offers awesome wages and benefits for students who complete the program and enter the workforce. There is such high demand that Auburn Students are commanding some of the highest entry salaries in the industry. Moreover, there are many local Continuing Education Opportunities available to students who complete this program, including the Plant Science & Landscape Technology program at Tri-C, which is nationally recognized as one of the best in the country.
