ELEVATE AMERICA - Microsoft Corporation, the Ohio Board of Regents and Auburn Career Center have partnered in an initiative called Elevate America to enhance the technical job skills of citizens in Northeast Ohio. The goal of Elevate America is to make available online training access and certification vouchers at no cost. This program is available through August 26, 2010.
PARAMEDIC PROGRAM The application process has begun for our 2010-2011 Adult Paramedic Program. Application deadline is Monday, August 2nd.
SECOND CHANCE SKILL TRAINING PROGRAM AND APPLICATION Application deadline is Friday, August 13th.
FIREFIGHTER I & II APPLICATION Adult program from August 19th - December 16th. Application deadline has been extended to Sunday, July 11th.
ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORES Auburn Career Center is currently taking applications for next school year. Click here to download an application or see your guidance counselor.
YEARBOOK Students who ordered a yearbook will receive a postcard in the mail with pickup dates and times. Please make sure that the high school office has your current mailing address.

Dave Richards, Auburn's Horticulture Instructor, is featured in JP Horizons' People Solutions Newsletter. When asked what he has learned from his students through the years, Dave Richards responded, "They just keep me young, no matter how bad my body hurts; just being around them motivates me to go get 'em." He adds, "My advice to anyone is to love what you do, have fun with the people you work with, and above all else make a difference!"

there to see how the students are doing," she said. "We cannot have a student on
an internship who isn't applying the skills they have learned at
Auburn. "An internship should continue their education," she added. "This
is more about education, not whether they are paid or unpaid."
