This course teaches the basic functions and features of Excel 2010. After an introduction to spreadsheet terminology and Excel's window components, students will learn how to use the Help system and navigate worksheets and workbooks. Then they will enter and edit text, values, formulas, and pictures, and they will save workbooks in various formats. Students will also move and copy data, learn about absolute and relative references, and work with ranges, rows, and columns. This course also covers simple functions, basic formatting techniques, and printing. Finally, students will create and modify charts, and learn how to manage large workbooks.
Public Safety Academy - NEW
This program covers EMT, Anatomy & Physiology, EKG and Firefighter 1 & 2. It prepares you to take the Ohio Department of Emergency Medical Services certification(s) and National Registry as well as preparation into the Paramedic program. The course starts off with Emergency Medical Technician on Tuesdays and Thursdays in conjunction with Anatomy & Physiology and EKG on Friday's ending with Firefighter 1 & 2 program. This course is a combination of Anatomy & Physiology and Medical Terminology which will enable students to build an understanding of the relationships of the structures and functions of the human body, as well as the terminology of how it relates.
