Are you ready to work in a salon or spa after graduation? Then Cosmetology is the path for you. 

Students enrolled in the Cosmetology program will learn all the necessary skills needed to enter into this exciting industry. Daily hands-on training will have you completing precision haircuts, styling hair, doing advanced haircolor services such as highlights and balayage techniques. Budding stylists will also learn nail care and skin care. Training includes basic manicures, shellac manicures, acrylic nails and nail art. Skin care consists of facials and makeup applications. Student stylists get to complete an internship working alongside highly skilled hair stylists in salons of your choice. The second year focuses on preparing you for the Cosmetology State Board Exam. Walk out with your license in hand and ready to work. Be ahead of the game by completing the cosmetology program where you are ready to start your career right out of high school.

Cosmetology is a fun and exciting program, but it takes dedication! You must finish the two-year program with a minimum of 1500 hours so attendance is crucial. Stellar attendance is not hard to achieve when you love what you are learning! Come join one of the best industries out there!

State Board of Cosmetology License
OSHA  10-Hour Safety 

College Credits*: 
Up to 30 college credits (Kent Geauga – must have a business minor)
